Petition to the Prime Minister
Whereas:
- Members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers have been without a contract since February 01, 2018; and
- There is nothing precluding the Minister of Public Services and Procurement from resuming negotiations with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers to form a negotiated settlement.
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Prime Minister to instruct the Minister of Public Services and Procurement to immediately resume negotiations with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers until a negotiated settlement is reached, as a sign of respect for the hard work of the women and men who contribute to the success of Canada Post and to the economy of Canada each and every day.
