Petition to the Minister of Finance

Whereas:
  • there is a need to reform the Canada Pension Plan
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Minister of Finance to reform the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) to allow anyone diagnosed with a terminal illness who has contributed to CPP through their life time for 20 or more years to claim disability benefits regardless of the date of their last CPP contribution.
