Petition to the Minister of Health
Whereas:
- Childhood cancer is the #1 killer of our children, more than from asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies, and pediatric AIDS combined.
We, the undersigned, Citizens of Canada, call upon the Minister of Health to increase the amount of funding put towards research for childhood cancer. The current amount of 4% just isn't enough. The childhood cancer numbers are rising, yet the research and funding are not, and this needs to change.
