Petition to the Government of Canada
- First-past-the-post doesn’t allow voters to vote honestly without worrying about splitting the vote in their riding;
- Polarization in Canadian politics is on the rise, which is incentivized by first-past-the-post;
- First-past-the-post leads to many voters being ideologically unrepresented;
- First-past-the-post leads to the formation of a parliament that doesn't accurately reflect the Canadian electorate politically;
- First-past-the-post leads to the formation of governments that do not represent the majority of voters;
- A Proportional Representation system would lead to more inter-party collaboration and cooperation in parliament;
