Petition to the Government of Canada
Whereas:
- The COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose a significant threat to public health within Canada;
- Frontline and healthcare workers continue to make significant sacrifices to help the Canadian public weather the COVID-19 pandemic;
- Evidence-based public health measures have helped protect the lives and wellbeing of many Canadians; and
- Evidence-based public health measures have ensured, to the extent possible, the protection of healthcare capacity within Canada.
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to continue working with provincial and territorial partners to pursue, as required, evidence-based public health restrictions including, but not limited to, vaccination mandates and mask mandates.
