Petition to the Government of Canada
Whereas:
- Bill C-452, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (exploitation and trafficking in persons) was passed unanimously at 3rd reading in the House of Commons on November 26, 2013;
- The bill was introduced in the Senate and returned to the House of Commons without amendment after 3rd reading on May 12, 2015; and
- The bill received Royal Assent on June 18, 2015.
We, the undersigned, Citizens of Québec and all Canadian jurisdictions call upon the Government of Canada to order the coming into force of Bill C-452, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (exploitation and trafficking in persons).
