Petition to the Government of Canada
Whereas:
- The federal government committed to update and expand the provisions in the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act to better protect whistleblowers, or public servants disclosing wrongdoing, acting in the name of public interest;
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the President of the Treasury Board to immediately implement all of the recommendations proposed by the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates in the Committee’s 9th Report, entitled “Strengthening the Protection of the Public Interest within the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act.”
