We, the undersigned citizens and residents of Canada, draw the attention of the House of Commons to the following:

Whereas, the escalation of extremist violence targeting Christians in Nigeria has led a growing numbers of experts to suggest that Christians in some parts of the country are facing an ongoing genocide.

Therefore we, the undersigned, call on the Government of Canada step up its efforts to defend the rights and security of Christians in Nigeria.
